Description
These two bay warmblood geldings frolicked in their paddock in the late afternoon light.
A gelding is an altered male horse. A warmblood is a mixture of thoroughbred (a 'hot' blooded horse) and - originally - a draft horse (a 'cold' blooded horse). European breeders have finessed this combination into several distinct breeds that have become the favorite of many in dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper, and driving competitors.

Thank you, Marian! Not sure how long ago you posted (I'm so bad at keeping up with everything), but I do appreciate it.

Thank you, Maria! I appreciate your L/F. It was definitely "frozen" - so cold that day! :-)

Thank you, Joni and Heidi! You really can see more of the snow in the print, but yes, it does appear they're floating!

I love the effect of the snow not being truly visible, so that you feel these horses are magical beasts, floating in air - which horses, of course are!
