Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I heard the term 'wabi sabi' on Barnwood Builders, and had to look it up to clearly understand the concept. It's a Japanese and Chinese term, with the two words originally meaning 'despondence' and 'loneliness' or 'solitude' - so the term has more to do with feelings than attributes. But we have altered it to describe things - specifically, the beauty of things that are imperfect, humble, unconventional.
This building, this inn dating back before the Revolutionary War, epitomizes 'wabi sabi' for me - both in feeling and describing it. Built by Elijah Dewey in 1764, this section was added by the fifth owner, whose family still owns and resides in, the front, original part of the building.
