Description
Back in the 1880s, the neighborhood now known as Haight-Ashbury was 'the burbs' of San Francisco. Then there was 1967 - the Summer of Love, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead.
Sometimes, you need to look UP! One of my favorite sights in San Francisco is these blow-up plastic legs sticking out of a second floor window above Piedmont Boutique and "the Walrus" street sign, wearing a peace medallion and flashing the peace sign.
Whimsical and just so TOTALLY "the Haight"! I dare you not to smile!
The original is not for sale - but if you can't resist, a print or canvas - or mug or shower curtain (now THERE's an idea - I may have to get one of those myself) is available!
