Looking out the main door of the Culinary Institute of America Greystone in St. Helena, CA. Greystone, one of the world's most unique and inspiring campuses for culinary education, is one of the Napa Valley's most historic and majestic properties.
A photograph is visual emotion, running the gamut from stark images of horror—to ‘snapshots in time’ commemorating special moments—to pieces that draw you into their world as if they were magnetized. These are the photographs that evoke a gasp, a “WOW!” or an “awwwww.” I consider myself a visual historian. Whether taking photographs of you and your horse, an old barn, or a misty sunrise, I am preserving history. Not just for you, or that barn, or that sunrise - but for the memories each regenerates in others.
